In November 2001 a new air filter will be commissioned by Affilips. Similar to the other filter installations already in operation, the new plant is a bag filter with injection of adsorbents. The installation has a ventilation capacity of 100000 m3/h and will be used to capture dust and fume from the third foundry. Cleaned air from all of the filters is discharged through a newly contructed chimney 25m high and 2,4m in diameter. This type of filter installation has a well established track record for the efficient removal of dust and fume from foundry emissions.
